I recently designed this wedding stationery set with "modern vintage" as inspiration. It features a unique illustrated handpainted crest surrounded by their wedding flowers for a romantic feel. These invitations are elegant yet have slightly rustic feel. The jam jar posy on the details card, paired with a flowing ribbon, mixed both modern and vintage looks; while equally, heirloom pink roses and craspedia flowers also married these looks together. Blush pink, shades of blue, soft green and pops of vibrant yellow was the colour palette of choice. The handpainted crest design with the couple's initials personalises the suite.
One thing I loved about this wedding stationery set, was that the couple are having a vegetarian and vegan wedding and indicate this on the RSVP card. Both meal options sound delicious to me!
The other thing I loved about these wedding invitations was that the couple are asking for a donation to the charity of their choice, The Dogs Trust, such an important animal charity here in the UK. I'm seeing more and more couples include ideas like this on their additional information or details card, sometimes instead of a traditional wedding registry and sometimes alongside a wedding registry list.
The suite also included brush calligraphy done by hand in blue watercolour in an elegant and modern style, which paired nicely with a classic looking chic serif font. The finished design was printed on a textured card, reminiscent of watercolour paper.
